IBR-081-OM

ErrorOman-specific ruleCategory: Codes & classifications

Official rule text

[IBR-081-OM] - Industrial Classification Code (BTOM-033) must be provided for each ITEM INFORMATION (IBG-31) except when Invoice transaction type (BTOM-001) is a simplified tax invoice (01000000000000000000) and/or import of goods (00000000000010000000) or import of service RCM (00000000100000000000) or profit margin self-invoice (00000000001000000000).

What this means

An invoice line is missing its industrial classification (ISIC) code. This is required on most invoices, but not on simplified tax invoices, imports of goods, imports of services, or profit-margin self-invoices.

Codes & classifications

Whether codes on the invoice — item classification (HS, ISIC), Incoterms, unit codes, document type — are drawn from the exact code list Oman's rules require, not just any plausible value.
